Rawa Pods
The Rawa (meaning pertaining to Provisions) Pods offer a selection of women's and children's clothing and household items.
Our two Rawa Pods have been going since late 2020. They are full of women's and children's clothing, household items, bedding and personal care/sanitary products. These are available for women to look through and take from as needed.
In 2023, we had over 700 instances of women accessing the pods.
All the goods have been generously donated from the community. These goods are regularly re-stocked and changed.
The Rawa Pods are open Monday - Thursday from 9am until 3pm.
We welcome donations of quality goods and clean clothing during opening hours. We don't take electrical items, helmets, car seats, large furniture or kids toys.
For me and my family, using the Rawa pods has been a huge blessing. Having just come out of jail again with nothing and not having much money on the WINZ benefit, you have to choose between something nice or a necessity, like a fridge. Being able to get nice clothes and sanitary items, things we can’t afford, has been such a blessing.
